Shipping
How do you ship your items?
Our shipping costs are determined by weight of the total order. Your shipping costs will be calculated upon checkout. We use USPS Priority Mail, and we carefully wrap all orders well in tissue then send them in a sturdy box to ensure no damage occurs during shipment.
Do you have gift wrapping?
Not at this time, but check back soon!
What if I need my order quickly?
If
you need your item by a certain date, please let us know by leaving us
a comment in the comments box when you check out. You also have the
option of using our USPS Priority Mail service (2-3 days delivery once
shipped out) starting at $6.95, or Next Day Delivery (2-day guarantee)
starting at $29.95. When you choose either one of these options, your
order is automatically moved ahead of others for quick shipping without
any additional fees. Both of these options are also shipped in a
sturdy Priority Mailing box.
Can I get my package insured?
Yes, we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please contact us to insure your package for a small fee.
How long will it take to get my order?
All of our clothing and bows are custom-made as they are ordered. We do not mass produce any of our items. We give attention and detail to every single bow and outfit we make. Due to our unique product line, and high demand, we do not stock any hair bows or clothes. All orders take 2-14 days to make and ship. September through February is our busy season and orders take a bit longer to process during this time of the year. If you have a deadline to receive your bows, simply let us know in the comments box when you check out. We will do our very best to accommodate your request.
I need my order fast for a special event, do you offer rush orders?
Yes, we do offer rush orders. This is a premium paid service we offer for those emergency orders. Premium rush orders will be shipped out fast, within 1 business day of your order. For rush orders under $50, there will be a $15 service charge. For rush orders over $50 the fee will be a $25 service charge. The rush order does not include shipping. The shipping methods that can be used for your order are listed below.

What makes Silly Bug Boutique's bows and clothing different from everyone else's?
- SBB uses only the highest quality ribbon and
fabric available on the market. Much care and time go in to each and
every product to ensure its' lasting quality. Many boutiques do not
seal the edges of their ribbon, or if they do, use just a craft glue,
making the ends quite susceptible to fraying. At SBB, all edges are
heat-sealed to guarantee that from occurring.
- Most boutiques
do not spend the extra time or money to fully line the clips, leaving
some metal exposed. It looks unfinished and unsightly. SBB ensures
that your clips will be fully lined with coordinating ribbon.
- SBB places a foam GripStrip to every alligator clip (except the clips with teeth) at no extra charge to you.
Many boutiques charge as much as $.50 extra for this!
- Each and
every bow is starched to last longer than your typical bow.
- As two stay-at-home moms, we know the value of sticking to a budget, so we endeavor to make sure our items are always competitively priced.
I have a dress that I need to find a bow for, but I don't see anything on your site that will work. Do you do custom bow orders?
I need a dress for a special occasion, and I just don't
see what I'm looking for. The style/fabric is not what I need. Do you
do custom orders on clothing?
What clips do you use?
We use single-prong alligator clips on most of our infant and toddler bows. French barrettes and wide rectangle alligator clips with teeth are also used on toddler and older girl bows. All of our clips are fully lined with ribbon and include a GripStrip (except clips with teeth) at no additional charge to you. All of our clips will grasp even the finest of baby hair!
Why don't you offer headbands?
Check back with us soon, as we will offer them in the future.
What are your embellishments made with?
We use resin, plastic, pom-poms, crystals, and even enhanced cardstock. Please supervise your baby at ALL times while wearing our bows. Some of our bows contain small parts.
Do you offer a Catalogue?
Not at this time. All of our products can be viewed and purchased online.
